Learning Arabic For Beginners [Part 1] - Arabic Letters

Ahlan! Hello!

Arabic Alphabet

How are you? Lately I just started learning new language which is Arabic, so I might post a bit more about it since it feels great to share knowledge. For me personally, it is absolutely my very first step in learning Arabic, so for some of you who also want to start it, we can do it together! I'm following an online Arabic course in my native language but I'll translate everything here, hopefully more people will be able to understand and get a benefit from it.

First of all, we know that Arabic has its own letters/alphabet, or we call it Hijaiyah. And all the letters/words/sentences are read and written from right to left. It needs a little practice and patience to write and pronounce them well (oh well that was me, maybe if you are super genius you can just done that way faster and easier hhh).

On formulating a word, there are three types of the letters; the first letter, the middle letter(s), and the last letter. Some of them can be connected to the previous and/or next letter, some can't. Here's the table of Arabic letters with "how to connect them" (obviously if you need to write manually, since all keyboard could just do that instantly).

You see the picture (table) above with the green colour, those are 6 special letters that cannot be connected to their next letter. For example: ضرب (hit) ; باب (door)

From two example above you see that  ر  and   ا  they cannot be connected to both  ب

Tayyib, that is a little explanation about Arabic Alphabet. If you find anything to be discussed with, I'll be very happy to respond and adding more information. Shukran :)
